Now about swastika. The cross or sun has two meanings:


1) clockwise cross is good, symbolizes creation, wealth. Russian tsars had them on their crowns.


2) anticlockwise is bad, symbolizes apocalypse. Hitler and his army had anticlickwise sun on their flags, uniform, etc.


so if you remember the direction you can answer.

I'm not a big believer in 'signs' but the swastika in the ancient spiritual and religious use was a symbol of good fortune. It is still widely used in Indonesia today as a sign of luck. In our western culture it seems to act as a reminder of the Nazi flag but in many eastern cultures spilt sugar in the form of a swastika would probably be seen as a good sign.

Well, it is if you believe in Omens. But you have to remember that the sawastika was originally a sign of peace, so it's a good thing really.
