Can I split an hdmi cable to accomadate apple itv and my satellite feed at the same time?

I have one hdmi input on my tv and would like to buy a splitter to plug in both my reciever for satellite and my apple ITVCan I split an hdmi cable to accomadate apple itv and my satellite feed at the same time?
Yes, buy an HDMI splitter. Make sure it supports HDCP.





However, it is OK to use component for one of the two. You can probably barely can see the difference...Can I split an hdmi cable to accomadate apple itv and my satellite feed at the same time?
You HAVE to use a switched box.....





HDMI uses a HANDSHAKING protocol....it can't be connected to two devices at the same time, it would never function correctly.





COMPONENT (5 wire) connections are also HD signals and if you have one, you can use it on your Satellite or vice versa....





SEE? Even TV GUY has the same KNOWLEDGE as I do....and I'm a TV GUY too...
