This round stone (or rock) is the size of a baseball. Inside is a beautiful chryistalline, how do I split it?

You need to cut it with a diamond blade. Take it to a tile place and see if they will cut it in half for you on their wet saw. This round stone (or rock) is the size of a baseball. Inside is a beautiful chryistalline, how do I split it?
How do you know what is in it...did you break open one just like it? Check around ask for someone who is into lapidary, a rockhound, a rock collector. Ask if they would saw the Geode for you. (A diamond edged saw blade is used to cut the Geode) if all else fails...look in the phone book for a Rock Shop (hobby shop) maybe you can get some help there. ';Once a Rockhound always a Rockhound'; its a great hobby to get into (been one for 30+ years) have fun. Caution: if you decide to use a sledge hammer wear safety goggles! This round stone (or rock) is the size of a baseball. Inside is a beautiful chryistalline, how do I split it?
Best way would be to cut it with a tile saw, but I have heard of rock collectors actually scoring the rock and breaking them open with a chisel and a hammer, perhaps check the local yellow pages to see if you have someone local to you that might be able to help. Better to ask then ruin your geode....good luck
got to lowes and buy a cheap grinder and a tile saw blade and cut it in half
