How can I do a split less then 2 weeks?

i wanted to know how to get more flexible. i'm signing up for martial arts. and i need to know how to do a split. but the thing is, i don't know how to do a split. so what are some tips that can help me do a split less then 2 weeks? any tips will help.How can I do a split less then 2 weeks?

y do u need to split in matial arts? u dont need to, any way just spit as far as u can go witout pulling anything(it soulld hurt even if u dont pull any thing) and stay ther till it stops hurting, then rest a day and repeat, rember to rest or ull pull somthing
Yeah, it can take years really depending on your age. Don't force this unless you are already really close to getting it all the way already. You will build flexibility in the class you are joining--there is no need to be able to do the slits before you begin. They will teach you the appropriate stretches for that art. If they have a stretch machine at the school, that can help you get there faster though.
i took dance and they tried to get everyone to do a split so heres a couple of things:


bend to touch your toes without bending your knees and stay that way for about 3 minutes


or (and this is hard to explain)


lay on your back on the floor so your butt touches the wall and put your legs up and let your legs slide. it will hurt but if you do those often enough it should work
im a dancer and the way i did a split fast was lay out in the slit postion and bounce up and down so it streches and its like a push up but for ur whole body kindof :D
Hold the split. DO NOT BOUNCE!! bouncing will hurt you and pull muscles. Spend like an hour a day practicing and you will do it in a couple weeks.


You should seriously consider taking more time though. 2 weeks is quick.
The best way to master it within 2 weeks is to do it everyday, spend 1 hour doing this. Do lots of ';Sitting-Down Stretching';, such as the ';Butterfly'; and many others. Also, do at least 25 sets of splits, try to go down lower in each set.





Time yourself, 2 minutes per set, total 25 sets. However, please do not force yourself, give your muscles time to become flexible. 2 weeks is hard, but if you follow what i say, it is definitely possible.
