Splitting Bandwidth on a D-Link Router?

Hey, I have a D-Link Gaming Router (DGL-4500). I was wondering how you would split the bandwidth evenly between two wired computers, one wireless and an Xbox 360 (wired). (Or if it's possible i'd like to give each connection an actual set speed instead of giving an xbox unnecessary bandwidth because it's split evenly.)Splitting Bandwidth on a D-Link Router?
I agree with first answer. Most home routers do not allow traffic shaping. Some Linux-based firewalls/routers (free software) can do this, but you have to learn how to configure it. As well, you need one spare PC with 2 NICs on it to create a custom firewall.

The advantages are that you can filter and shape much more, and you can even filter content (especially incoming), like common virus ports, etc.

If you have the will to learn, check out one of the many free firewalls in the link below. Some only need the most basic PC (Pentium II/128mb memory), others need a lot more.Splitting Bandwidth on a D-Link Router?
I don't think its possible with a consumer-grade router like the DGL-4500
