How does a split air con system work?
A split-system utilizes separate or ';split'; evaporator and condensing sections for the air conditioning system. The evaporator section, or air handling unit, is typically located indoors at the floor or ceiling level. Larger systems may require roof-mounting and can be designed to cool, heat, provide Type X, Y, or Z pressurization, and chemical filtration when required.
