Sorry you can't play online spiltscreen only offline spilt screen but you can do everything online as it is offline(but liminted to 2-4 people)and even play nazi zombies!!!

Well on xbox360 you cant play with another person, you can play together but not online.
So im guessing its the same for ps3

no only one player for online play.
