just got a staffie shes only 4 months, was just wonderin reallyWhen does a staffordshire bull terriers head start to split?
That is a huge myth. A staffys head never splits. what you're referring to is muscle that runs down either side of the top of the head. as both muscles develop it begins to look like there is a ';split'; in between them. You will begin to see her muscle developement the more she matures, although most of it will lie in her genetic makeup. Meaning if mom and dad had good muscle tone, she probably will too, if not, nothing you can do about it. good luck with her.When does a staffordshire bull terriers head start to split?
What do you mean by ';split';
Isn't that usually done by taking an axe to the poor animal?
Split?
Yup, what Karen said!
It doesn't, that's a myth.
Get a book on staffies and read about them so you know what to expect and what this dog needs.
