How come stock prices in the Yahoo! Finanance charts don't adjust the stock price after a split?

Normally I would expect to see the stock price cut in half, but it just seems to stay the same right after a 2 for 1 split as an example. So if a stock was $100/share and then had a 2 for 1 split, they should be $50 a share, but the chart doesn't reflect this price change.

What am I missing? How come stock prices in the Yahoo! Finanance charts don't adjust the stock price after a split?

I have seen this as well. Sometimes it takes a little while for Yahoo Finance to catch up. It should reflect this change tomorrow morning at market opening.
