in windows movie maker put the video you want to split on the story board then look at the icons at the bottom left one of them will say show time line in time line mode in time line mode you can adjust the tiome line and go to where you want to split the video once there click on clip located at the top tool bar and you will see the spl option (you can also press ctrl L)How can i split videos into parts using windows movie maker?
Physically, the whole thing it really drive C. The D partition is like a folder and just represents a different section of drive C. If you re-install you can just have drive C and no D partition. Sadly you don't like the one program that can take care of all of that for you without re-installation. Partition Magic is a good program, but you can start all over and you don't even need drive D. I did that and made a folder that I call drive D and use it as a different drive but when I defrag of course there is only drive C. If you don't or are not sure about things, a geek can help you get that all done. Have backups before you do anything. Trust me they are important. Have fun and Good Luck!
