i heard that we were going to get bombed by alquida in a few days or sometime in October. and i also heard that we were going to have a civil war if anyone knows please tell me.Is anyone going to bomb the u.s. soon and are we going to split up into 6 different countries?

Think about it. If you heard creditable information that Al-Qaeda was going to attack (bomb) the U.S., Homeland Security has heard it too. Creditable info would be like next Thursday in Washington, D.C. at the Capitol Building or something like that. I don't know how many times I have head someone talking about terrorist ';chatter'; is up and something is in the works, let Homeland do the worrying.





Who told you the country was going to split up? For what reason? Wouldn't you think you would've seen evidence of this? I heard some Russian professor mention this last year. He also had the same ';hypothesis'; 10 or 20 years ago too.





The bottom line, don't believe everything you hear. Learn to think for and scrutinize information yourself. And most importantly, ask questions about what you hear. There are a lot of unwise pundits that try to pass hyperbole and attitude for facts. In many cases just listening to the tone of what they're saying says something. Truth has a sound, we a know it when we hear it. That also goes for answers posted on Y!A, including mine.
Gee, the Rumor Mill must be running on overdrive today.





If there were such intel, we certainly wouldn't be told, because it would be classified so as not to cause a panic.





As far as a civil war goes, it won't be because of Al Qaeda, but from the divisions that exist within the nation.
There is no need to ALL other countries laugh their heads off on the ugly pranks the installed in this young country to prevent anything.
