I recently switched dorm rooms and I am going to have one tv while my roommate has another, this is due to issues getting along, another story. Anyway, there is one outlet for cable, the kind that you twist the metal thing around, and it has a little metal prong in the middle. Is there any attachment i can get so that i can just split it between 2 tv cable cords, like a ';y'; split. I hope this makes sense. In addition to the splitter you'll need a length of coax between the outlet and the splitter. I find a good source of these simple parts is a 'dollar store',
For 2 bucks you will save untold aggravation; there's no such thing as totally compatible humans who will always agree on what to watch (unless one of them is dead).
You might also want to consider headphones.
yeah go to your hardware or any shop that sells tv parts and ask for a 2 way splitter
